MUMBAI: The SSR death probe led to the arrest of Rhea, her brother Showik, and SSR’s staff owing to their alleged involvement in the drug cartel in Bollywood.
Rhea, during her interrogation had named Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh. On the other hand, superstar Deepika Padukone's name emerged in the case through the chats the actress had with her manager Karishma and Jaya Saha.
As per Times Now, the latest development is that Dharma Productions aide Kshitij Prasad was summoned by the NCB and was interrogated for almost 24 hours.
He was picked up from the airport, and his residence was raided where they found a small quantity of drugs.

Now, the NCB has arrested Kshitij under the NDPS Act. The NCB has proof against him for procuring drugs. During his interrogation, he has named some big Bollywood celebrities who do consume drugs and for whom he procures narcotic substances.
Even Rakul Preet Singh during her interrogation had mentioned his name and said that he does procure drugs.
One more employee of Dharma Productions was summoned and questioned yesterday, but as of now, he has been given a clean chit.
There are several reports doing the rounds that Karan Johar might be summoned by the NCB soon.
Well, the investigation is on, and more names will be tumbling out of the closet as the Bollywood drug nexus has been busted.
