MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14, 2020. The actor who was reportedly battling depression since the past few months hung himself to death in his Mumbai residence on Sunday morning. As per reports, it was his domestic help who informed the Mumbai Police about it. With the nation in a huge shock, columnist Shobhaa De reacted to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise and lashed out at people of Bollywood asking them to clean up their nasty act before many lives are lost.

Taking to Twitter, she said, “A can of worms has opened with the tragic death of one of our most talented young stars. Bollywood needs to clean up its nasty act before more lives are lost. @sushantsinghrajput.”
In her tweet, Shobhaa De mentioned how a can of worms has opened with the tragic and untimely demise of one of the most talented young star, Sushant Singh Rajput. The angry and hurt Shobhaa De went on to lash out at people from Bollywood. She said that Bollywood needs to clean up their nasty act before more lives are lost hinting at the prevailing nepotism in the industry.
