MUMBAI: Kartik Aaryan has been giving some amazing performances over the time and after the success of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, not the audience is ready for Sajid Nadiadwala's upcoming project ‘Chandu Champion’ which is based on a true story of a sportsperson and directed by Kabir Khan. Since the announcement of the project, it has been getting a lot of attention.

When talking about the movie, it’s going to be an unbelievable tale of a man who faced tough challenges one after another but always kept up an undying spirit. Kartik Aaryan plays the lead role in the movie and the character’s unwavering zeal and never-give-up attitude led to India’s first individual gold medal in any form of the Olympics. And this is the story of Chandu Champion.

Earlier, the makers have revealed the first look of Kartik Aaryan, the first poster along with the release date of the movie.

At the trailer launch event of the movie, Kartik Aaryan revealed if he could've dreamed of doing Chandu Champion when making Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and confessed if the Kabir Khan film was tougher than the romcoms he did

Kartik Aaryan said, "Main genre specific aisa nahi sochta tha ki main kya nahi kar paunga aur kya kar paunga. Mehnat usme bhi lagti hai but usme thode alag tareeke ki mehnat lagti hai. Yaha pe toh demanding tha physicality wise aur ek time Jo hai, ek patience jo hai, woh isme ek alag lagta hai woh mehnat ki baat hai. Mehnat koi bhi genres mein jao aapko lagegi hi. Comedy, ho, chahe woh romance ho, chahe thriller ho, sab mein mehnat lagti hai. Toh i feel tab bhi mehnat kar raha tha, aaj bhi mehnat kar raha hu, aage bhi karta rahunga, bas aadat na chhut jaaye kyu ki yeh aadat bohot zaroori hai toh agar iss time call aaya hota ki ya mere paas tab koi aisa offer aaya hota toh tab bhi main itni hi mehnat karta itne hi pyaar se idhar pe bhi kaam karta but ye kabhi nahi sochta ki, mujhe lagta hai uss time bhi isi mehnat se karta."

The movie will hit the theatres first on 14th June 2024 and will then be released on Amazon Prime for streaming.

Audiences want to witness this extraordinary real-life story which is headlined by the versatile Kartik Aaryan. The makers had earlier released the first look of the movie.
