Also having said that you must have noticed one thing that has been quite evident when it comes to character names of a few celebs. 

You must have heard the saying "what's in a name?" Well, even we would like to know the same, but there are a few celebs, who in multiple films, have used the same name like Shah Rukh Khan using Rahul in an array of his movies. Many trade analysts and film critics have said that celebs use the same character name as they are superstitious. Wondering how? Well, they are of the opinion that if Shah Rukh's movie has worked well at the box-office and his character's name in the film was Rahul, then he will use the same name in his other films also to make it hit. Shah Rukh Khan- Rahul


Who can forget his chocolate boy's look in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai? SRK essayed the role of Rahul in the film and made female fans swoon over his good looks. Well, that's not the only film, in which he was named Rahul. SRK's character name in Darr, Zamaana Deewana, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Yes Boss, Dil to Pagal Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, and Chennai Express was also Rahul.  

Salman Khan- Prem


Not just for his hot and toned body, Salman Khan is also popular for his on-screen name Prem. In several movies like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Chal Mere Bhai, Biwi No 1, Judwa, Deewana Mastana, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Andaaz Apna Apna, Ready, Partner, No Entry, Hum Saath Saath Hai, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Salman's character name was Prem. 

Amitabh Bachchan- Vijay


The angry young man aka Amitabh Bachchan is still known as Vijay Denanath Chauhan. But that was not the only time when his on-screen name was Vijay. Amitabh's on-screen character has been named Vijay in films like Do Aur Do Panch, Shaan, Shakti, Aakhree Raasta, Shahenshah, Agneepath, Akayla, Ek Rishtaa: The Bond Of Love, Aankhen, Nishabd, Rann and Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap. Big B was named Vijay in close to 20 films. 

Hrithik Roshan- Rohit

Not just in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Hrithik Roshan's on-screen name was Rohit in movies like Aap Mujhe Ache Lagne Lage, and  Koi Mil Gaya as well. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan- Pooja


Kaun Hai vo jisne mud ke mujhe nhi dekha? You must have said this Kareena Kapoor aka Pooja's dialogue if not more than at least once. Well, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham was not the only movie, where Kareena was named Pooja. In films like Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Jeena Sirf Mere Liye, and Tashan, Bebo was named Pooja. 

Karisma Kapoor- Pooja


Not just Kareena Kapoor, even her sister Karisma Kapoor is popularly known by her on-screen name Pooja. In films like Khuddar, Biwi No. 1, Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya, Saajan Chale Sasural, and Saput, Karisma's name was Pooja.
