MUMBAI: The makers of Stree 2 have come up with a historical story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, which will be played by Vicky Kaushal. On the other hand, we will get to see Rashmika Mandanna playing the role of Maharani Yesubai.
This is truly an unseen pair and when it was announced, it got a pretty good reaction from the audience. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie hit the theatres on 14th February. The trailer of the movie had received some amazing responses with special appreciation for Akshaye Khanna who plays the role of Auranzeb.
The movie has hit the theatres and on its first day, the movie opened up with a huge collection of around Rs 31 Cr India net. Meanwhile, it made a total of around Rs 47.25 Cr globally. The Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer had a great opening.
On day 3, Chhaava collected around Rs 48.5 Cr, making a great impact on the audience. While it collected around Rs 116.5 Cr in India net, it globally collected around Rs 164.75 Cr.
Rashmika Mandanna earned great recognition from her role as Srivalli in Pushpa 1 and Pushpa 2 where the latter turned out to become a sensational hit. On the other hand, Vicky kaushal has garnered a massive fan base for himself with all of his previous performances.
