We are sure no one saw this coming. In a sudden turn of events, the Child Commission has now asked the Mumbai police to register a FIR against SRK in the Wankhede brawl case.
Today, the Child Commission, in a detailed order, directed Mumbai Police to file FIR against Shahrukh Khan, under IPC sections and under Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection) Act, 2006. Further The commission has also ordered an enquiry "for not registering F.I.R. in this matter".
The incident dates back to 2012 when an allegedly drunk SRK got into an ugly fight with a security guard after an IPL match. While there were many versions of why and how the fight started including accounts of inebriation being one of the reasons, SRK had said then that he had come to the stadium to pick up his kids and their friends when a security officials allegedly manhandled the kids which is when he grew angry.
Subsequently, the superstar was banned from entering the stadium for 5 years and MCA also filed a police complaint against the actor under Section 323 (Voluntarily causing hurt) and Section 506 (Criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. The Mumbai Police had then registered a non-cognisable offence against Shah Rukh and three others in connection with the brawl.
