MUMBAI: Hindi film industry famous couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently got trapped in a fake celebrity photo that is captivating the attention on social media. An alleged photo featuring a couple who are having their first baby this September sharing a stint of their baby's sonogram is being widely viral on the internet. Here's the reality about the viral photo.

The picture featured Deepika and Ranveer wearing a cap with mom and dad written on it, holding a sonogram speculating of their baby. While the woman's face in the picture is not clear, it bears a resemblance to Deepika, thanks to her dimples. The male’s is facing away from the camera.

While the picture went viral on social media platforms speculating the couple as Deepika and Ranveer, and reactions kept pouring in – the couple in it is not actually Deepika-Ranveer. It turns out the original photo is of a user named Halime Kucuk, who announced her pregnancy on the social media platform on May 13th.
Recently in February 2024 the couple had announced about the pregnancy via their Instagram handle. In an interview with the mom to be, Deepika had expressed her desire for parenthood, saying, “Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family... In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children.”
