Kicking off the promotion of her upcoming film Race 2, Deepika Padukone is currently in Dubai along with her co-stars to promote the action packed thriller. Attending a full day event in Dubai tomorrow will be lead stars of the film Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel. The actors will be attending the press conference with the crew of the film followed by a meet and greet with the stars at Arabian Centre. It is interesting to note that the actress has been personally looking into the marketing and promotions of Race 2 and was the first one to launch the assets of the film in the digital space. The actress is thrilled with the response she has received for the film so far. Meanwhile Disney UTV Studios has said that the film will be released in more than 50 countries. Said Amrita Pandey, executive director, Syndication, International Distribution and Disney Media Distribution, Studios, Disney UTV in a statement, “We have planned a massive international release for Race 2. The film will be released in more than 50 countries. After many years, a Hindi movie will see a simultaneous release in Morocco in four to five screens, including theatres in Casablanca and Marrakech. "Newer territories like Myanmar, East Timor, Maldives and Vietnam (with as many as seven screens) are also in our release plan. There is very high anticipation and for this sequel from the Race franchise and we are excited," she added. Co-produced by UTV Motion Pictures and TIPS Industries, Race 2 is the sequel to 2008 film Race. The film is scheduled to release worldwide on the 25 January.
