MUMBAI: Earlier this week, filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga sparked controversy on X (formerly Twitter) with a pointed post accusing a certain actress of breaking an unspoken NDA related to his forthcoming film Spirit. He further alleged that she was engaging in "dirty PR games." The cryptic tweet quickly caught attention online, with many speculating that the message was aimed at Deepika Padukone.

Now, adding another layer to the ongoing buzz, Padukone has made remarks that seem to indirectly address the situation. During a recent visit to Stockholm, Sweden, for the unveiling of Cartier’s High Jewelry collection ‘En Équilibre’, the actress participated in an interview with Vogue Arabia, where she reflected on how she handles challenging circumstances.
When asked about maintaining her sense of balance, Padukone responded, “What keeps me balanced is just being truthful, authentic. Whenever I'm faced with complicated or difficult situations, to be able to listen to my inner voice and just stand by decisions that really give me a lot of peace is when I feel most in equilibrium.”
Padukone’s comments arrive shortly after she exited Spirit, a project that had reportedly cast her as the female lead. While the exact reasons for her departure remain unconfirmed, rumors suggest creative and contractual disagreements—particularly over pay and scheduling—may have played a role. Following her exit, Triptii Dimri, who gained acclaim for her role in Animal, was announced as her replacement.
