MUMBAI: Horror comedy is still considered a fresh genre in Bollywood. One movie that has made a strong mark in Bollywood in this genre is Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which stars Akshay Kumar, Ameesha Patel, Vidya Balan, and Shiney Ahuja in the leads. It was directed by none other than masala entertainer Priyadarshan.

The movie had an amazing impact on viewers. We loved it for its amazing storytelling, griping horror sequences, and itwists and turns towards climax. All this came to us with a flavour of comedy, which was loved by the audiences.

But did you know that Vidya Balan and Ameesha Patel were not the first choices of the makers for this movie?

Fans have shared a post where it is said that Vidya Balan’s role of Avni was first offered to Aishwariya Rai and Ameesha Patel’s role of Radha was offered to Katrina Kaif.

The sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa will release next year and have Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani in the leads. It will be directed by Anees Bazmee.
