MUMBAI: Juhi Chawla is renowned for her attractiveness and beauty. The stunning actress was frequently compared to other women of her generation, like Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor. In reality, their rivalry was well-known in the 1990s, and many capitalized on it. Juhi Chawla turned down the opportunity to work in the extremely popular movie Raja Hindustani, according to the director Dharmesh Darshan, who recently confirmed this.

Dharmesh Darshan, the filmmaker, recently told Juhi Chawla's an anecdote in an interview. She played hard to get, despite the fact that he indicated she was Raja Hindustan's first choice. She said that the movie was merely a typical one when he first informed her about it. The filmmaker responded by using the superhit movie Hum Aapke Hain Koun, in which Madhuri Dixit's role stood out, as an example. Juhi immediately replied, "But you’re not Sooraj Barjatya."
Dharmesh said that the comment hurt him, and he immediately informed Juhi, "And you're not Madhuri Dixit." Following this, Juhi pulled out of the movie, and the director later said that a day later, she apologies to him.
In the 1990s, Juhi and Madhuri were never seen together. However, in 2010, they pushed their disagreements aside to work together in Soumik Sen's action movie Gulaab Gang. They had even been on Koffee With Karan, a program hosted by Karan Johar.
