Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx step out for dinner date

Actor, singer and songwriter Jamie Foxx went out on a dinner date with actress Katie Holmes amid rumours that the elusive couple who have never publicly acknowledged their relationship may have broken up.

The pair was at the TAO restaurant in Midtown, Foxx acted as a perfect gentleman, walking around the black SUV the pair arrived in to give Holmes his hand, suggests some reports.

Foxx, 50, and Holmes, 39, have kept their relationship extremely low profile for years. They were first romantically linked back in 2013 a year after Holmes' divorce from Tom Cruise.

Foxx publicly denied their relationship at the time, but evidence began to pile up over the years -- whether it was a photo of the pair holding hands in his music studio, a quick dinner date in New York City or a romantic stroll on the beach in Malibu.

Mike Shinoda ready to reunite with Linkin Park

Rocker Mike Shinoda is ready to get back with the rock band Linkin Park, a year after frontman Chester Bennington's death -- if that is what his bandmates want.

The band regrouped for a memorial show at the Hollywood Bowl in October and Shinoda, who started playing solo sets at festivals this year, believes the time is right to at least talk about the future of Linkin Park, according to a leading media.

"I'm just taking it one step at a time and keeping my mind open to the possibilities, whether it's doing things under my name or working with other artistes or producing tracks for somebody else or if the guys are at a point where they wanna play Linkin Park shows," Shinoda told the website United Rock Nations.

He added, "Right now, honestly, the thing I'm most excited about and I'm focused on most is getting the (solo) live show together and making it the best it can be. It's at a good place... I've been doing a one-man show, but I think there's a lot of room to grow and develop it, and I'm excited about continuing to do that."

Shinoda played his first solo shows since Bennington took his own life last year in May.

‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' gets musical adaptation

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is set to be the latest film to be adapted for a new stage musical.

Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, and Alexis Bledel starred as best friends preparing to spend their first summer apart in the 2005 movie and its sequel, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, in 2008.

Scott Delman will produce the project for Blue Spruce Productions after obtaining the live theatrical rights. Casting details and an expected launch date are yet to be announced, suggest some reports.

The films were originally based on author Ann Brashares' young adult series of the same name.

The news of the stage show emerges as rumours of a third movie continue to rumble. In April, Bledel said all four actresses are keen to reunite onscreen, saying, "We just pitched the third movie. I hope it comes together".

Katy Perry dealt with depression after flop album

Singer Katy Perry fell into deep depression after her album "Witness" flopped last year.

The pop star told Vogue Australia that the public's reaction to her fifth record, which featured the tracks Swish Swish and Bon Appetit, left her heartbroken and led to some serious soul searching, suggest some reports.

"I have had bouts of situational depression and my heart was broken last year because, unknowingly, I put so much validity in the reaction of the public, and the public didn't react in the way I had expected to," she said.

The low prompted Perry to seek help and counselling at the Hoffman Institute in California where she felt recharged and re-energised.

"Essentially and metaphorically, we are all computers, and sometimes we adopt these viruses via our parents or via the nurture that we are given or not given growing up. These toxic tendencies can start to play out in our behaviour, in our adult patterns, in our relationships," she said.

The biggest breakthrough, she says, was realising that she didn't have to be an emotional wreck to be a successful singer and songwriter.

"The biggest lie that we have ever been sold is that we, as artists, have to stay in pain to create," the "I kissed a girl" singer said.

Chrissy Teigen's daughter gives her style advice

Model Chrissy Teigen's two-year-old daughter Luna gives her style advice.

She opened up about her daughter's possible future as a beauty blogger or stylist as she launched her new collaboration with make-up brand Becca Cosmetics.

"She doesn't shower with us, but she will sit at the end of the shower, just cross-legged. She'll watch you shampoo and she'll go 'Shave, shave, shave!' Then, when I do my make-up at the sink, she's like 'Up, up, up.'...If you hand her a lip gloss or a compact and she'll dab, dab," Teigen told a leading publication.

When Luna is done with her pretend make-up, she mirrors her model mother.

"Then she goes," she said, kissing into an imaginary mirror, "'Feel pretty!' It's really cute."

Luna has even expanded her advice from make-up to clothes, and makes sure to tell her famous mother when she looks good.

"She is at a stage where she will compliment you on your outfit. Of course, her taste in outfits - you know, you can't really trust it," Teigen said.

Imagine Dragons unveil their song 'Natural'

Grammy Award-winning band Imagine Dragons on Tuesday released a song titled "Natural", which has been chosen as the anthem of this year’s ESPN college football season.

The band will perform the song, which has been released by KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records, on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Thursday.

"Living in a dog-eat-dog world can bring out the worst in you, and sometimes, the best," the band's singer Dan Reynolds said in a statement to a leading media portal

"It would be a lie to tell you I haven't become somewhat sceptical about some things in the last decade of my life. However, I believe that when you truly learn to love yourself, the judging eyes and hateful words become meaningless. ‘Natural' is about finding yourself and being willing and able to stand up to whatever adversity comes your way."

Imagine Dragons' third studio album, "Evolve", has spent 55 weeks on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart, where it currently sits at No. 17.

Imagine Dragons are currently out on the road for the second leg of their 'Evolve World Tour'.

Here's what Paul Schrader has to say of 'Sacred Games'

American screenwriter Paul Schrader, known for working on Martin Scorcese's Taxi Driver and Raging Bull, is watching India's first original Netflix series Sacred Games. Its English dubbed version reminded him of how tricky is the use of English language vulgarity, but he says he will now watch it in Hindi with subtitles.

Schrader wrote on Facebook, "Watching 'Sacred Games'. I'm reminded how tricky is the use of English language vulgarity. The show is peppered with 'motherf***ers' and 'c**ts', but the rhythm is wrong, like school kids trying out grown up profanities. This is true not only of Indian movies but Indian slang in general.

"They know the English words but they don't know the idiosyncratic rhythm behind their usage.

It shows the nexus between organised crime, corruption, politics and espionage in post-liberalisation India.Chandra urged Schrader to watch the series in Hindi."Mr. Schrader, I wrote the (English) novel on which the series is based. Please watch the series in Hindi with English subtitles," he wrote on the comments section of the celebrated screenwriter-director's post.

On the 'idiosyncratic rhythms' that Schrader mentioned, Chandra said: "Indians use English with the rhythms of their own languages underlying the English. Not defending the dub (which I think is awkward), mind you, but American rhythms aren't 'natural' to English any more than Indian ones.

"Indians own English now as much as anyone else, and they use it variously -- there are regional Englishes within India (Hindi English, Kannada English, Punjabi English). Anyway, switch to the Hindi audio, and I hope you enjoy."

Schrader then told Chandra, "I read your book which is why I started the series. Looking at the menu, I missed the Hindi option. Will correct."Chandra was enthused.

"Great. It's immensely important to me (and the entire Phantom Films crew) that you - of all people - watch the series in the best manner possible. I've been a huge fan of your work since I snuck out of class in the late seventies to watch Taxi Driver, and had a life-changing experience in a Bombay theatre," he wrote. After going through the conversation and sharing a screen grab of it, Motwane tweeted, "The suspense is killing me..." Kashyap retweeted it.

Gary Barlow warns Robbie Williams

Singer Gary Barlow has issued a warning to his former Take That band member Robbie Williams ahead of his start on The X Factor as a judge.

"It's going to be great, but I know what's to come with that show. I know what it does to you. He's got some hard work ahead, that's for sure. I've told him it's a lot of hours - more than people realise. It's tiring," Barlow told a leading media portal.

He claimed the editing made him out to be the "bad guy" when he took on Simon Cowell's role as head judge of the show from 2011 to 2013.

"They film you for eight hours until you've had enough and then you say something bad - and that's what they use when it goes out," he added.

Even so, he urged viewers to watch the show to see Williams' wild antics.

He said, "You're definitely going to see him turning the air blue, so tune in. He'll be disappointed if they don't let him."

Khloe Kardashian, Tristan Thompson go for couple's therapy

Khloe Kardashian, 34, and Tristan Thompson, 27, are putting in effort to make their relationship thrive, by going for couple's therapy.

From sparking romance rumours, to getting pregnant a year later to emerging from an alleged infidelity scandal, the couple has been through a lot. Their romance even hit a rough patch in the days leading up to their daughter's arrival in April. But they are making sure all remains well, suggest some reports.

Lisa Stanley, a friend of Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner, told celebrity host Zoe Marshall that Khloe and Tristan, who share a three-month-old baby girl True, are dedicated to rebuilding their bond.

Khloe "doesn't want to look a fool. She was a fool once with Lamar Odom, and she didn't want to do it again," said Stanley.

Khloe and Lamar had tied the knot in 2009, but their marriage fell apart following multiple allegations of infidelity surrounding the former NBA star. It led to their divorce.

Grammys will be back in Los Angeles for 2019

The Grammys, which were held last year at New York's Madison Square Garden for the first time since 2003, will return to Los Angeles for its 61st edition on 10 February.

CBS said on Tuesday that the annual awards ceremony will be broadcast live from the Staples Centre, suggest some media reports.

Nominations will be announced in all 84 categories on 5 December.

After alternating between Los Angeles and New York for much of the Grammys history, the show moved to Los Angeles' Staples Center in 1999 after a public feud between then-Academy head Michael Greene and then-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

"We are delighted to host the world's premier music event back in our hometown and look forward to celebrating the remarkable musical contributions made by songwriters, producers, engineers, mixers and recording artists," said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the Recording Academy.

"As always, Grammy season will kick off with a series of events that showcase various genres of music, educational programs and our charitable initiatives. We look forward to working with our Los Angeles partners to produce some remarkable and unforgettable events," said Portnow.

Tyrese Gibson wants to end feud with Dwayne Johnson

Singer Tyrese Gibson has taken one step towards squashing his beef with actor Dwayne Johnson following their public spat about the future of the Fast & Furious franchise by admitting he went too far.

The two actors fell out last year when Gibson slammed Johnson's decision to push on with a Fast & Furious spin-off, delaying the production of the ninth instalment of the film series, as per some sources.

The movie Hobbs and Shaw focuses on Johnson's character Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, played by Jason Statham, and hits cinemas in 2019.

Fast and Furious 9 is slated for a 2020 release.

Johnson confirmed he and Gibson had yet to speak about the drama during a recent appearance on TV chat show Watch What Happens Live sharing, "That whole thing with Tyrese, it was pretty disappointing because I'd been friends with Tyrese for a very long time."

Gibson now freely says he may have gone too far, adding Johnson didn't deserve much of what he said, "I don't really recall anything that he either said directly or subliminally that was ever as big of a deal as the way I was going at him."
