MUMBAI : The upcoming movie of Ranveer Singh titled Jayeshbhai Jordaar has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. The movie marks the Bollywood debut of Shalini Pandey and has been directed by Divyang Thakkar. Ever since the teaser of the movie was out, fans were eagerly waiting for the trailer.
Today, finally, the trailer of the movie was launched during a press conference held in Mumbai in the presence of the cast and the director.
Talking about the movie, Ranveer Singh said that he is very happy and that being a part of this movie is a blessing for him. It will definitely make you laugh and cry at the same time. It is a movie that speaks about a very relevant subject with a dose of humour and entertainment. Ranveer also said that when he heard the entire narration, he loved the character so much that he immediately said yes for this project.
Talking about her Bollywood debut, Shalini Pandey said that when she auditioned for the movie, she did not think that she will get the part. She is thrilled about making her debut alongside Ranveer Singh and in a YRF movie. Ranveer added that Shalini's character is of a married woman who is pregnant. The role is very difficult, but the actress has aced it.
The director and writer of the movie, Divyang Thakkar said that when he wrote on this subject, he did know how it would turn out. He got a call from Manish Sharma about making a movie on this particular subject. Within a month, he was sitting next to Ranveer saying and giving him the narration, which was a very big deal for him.
