MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput left this world on June 14, 2020, and his case is one of the most talked-about and sensational topics. 

Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, CBI, NCB, and ED have been investigating the case. Recently, the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Harish Khan, a drug peddler in Bandra in the drugs case linked to the late actor. On May 26, the authorities arrested Siddharth Pithani in Hyderabad, the one who was the absconding accused in a drugs case. After his arrest, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede said, “They are being questioned and I cannot reveal anything as the investigation is at a sensitive stage.”

Recently, Sushant Singh Rajput’s househelp Neeraj and cook Keshav Bachner were questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). They were summoned a day after the arrest of Siddharth Pithani in the drug case. According to a report in the Times of India, he was taken after the NCB got the phone and WhatsApp chat details that hinted at certain evidence that he has some alleged connections with drug suppliers. The NCB had arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik last year in the alleged drugs case. After almost a month in jail, she was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in October 2020, in the drug abuse case connected to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Her brother was also later let out on bail.
