MUMBAI: Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, known for his impactful films ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘The Tashkent Files’, has extended his congratulations to Mithun Chakraborty and Abhishek Agarwal for their recent accolades. Agnihotri, who had won the National Award for ‘The Kashmir Files’, took to social media to celebrate the achievements of his colleagues. Mithun Chakraborty played the role of IAS Brahma Dutt in ‘The Kashmir Files’, while Abhishek Agarwal was the producer of both ‘The Kashmir Files’ and Agnihotri's upcoming film ‘The Delhi Files’.
Abhishek Agarwal received the National Award for Best Telugu Film for ‘Karthikeya 2’. Agnihotri praised his dedication and vision, commenting,

Agnihotri also expressed his happiness for Mithun Chakraborty, congratulating him on winning the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. He wrote,
