Hannah Spearritt expecting a child
Actress Hannah Spearritt says she is expecting her first child with long-time boyfriend Adam Thomas.
In an interview with OK! magazine, the EastEnders actress revealed her pregnancy and shared her pain of suffering two miscarriages.
Spearritt said, "I had one a few years previously with another partner. They both happened early on in the pregnancies, around the five-week mark.
"It's such an upsetting thing, so it's made it hard to relax this time, especially during the first few months. Going through all that makes this pregnancy even more special, though. I feel very lucky that everything has been okay this time."
The couple, who met five years ago, will welcome their child in December.
The 37-year-old actress also opened up about her health battle after a breast implant went wrong in 2013.
"My body was shutting down. At my worst moments, I felt like I was dying. I was suffering from breathlessness to the point where I would be on the floor.
"Even thinking back to it is very surreal," she added.
'Big Bad Wolves' remake in works
La Casa Muda director Gustavo Hernández has secured the rights for a remake of 2013 Israeli black comedy horror-thriller film Big Bad Wolves.
Producer Ignacio Cucucovich's Mother Superior will collaborate with Hernandez in recreating the film, reports suggest so.
Talking about the remake, Hernandez said, "The ambition to adapt a film like Big Bad Wolves comes from the context of the region where I live.
It allows me to develop a cathartic story on injustice, as a citizen, father and cineaste. The reversion will be agile, raw and visceral, making the audience part of the ethical decisions, responsibilities and consequences which the film's protagonists will suffer because of their actions."
Directed by Israel's Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, Big Bad Wolves centres on a vigilante policeman to snare the series of brutal murders, a kind of Dirty Harry figure who is dismissed from the police force when he hires two thugs to beat up a suspect.
Big Bad Wolves was described as the best film of the year at the Busan Festival in 2013.
Taraji P. Henson wants to normalise mental health
Actress Taraji P. Henson, who has started her NGO for the welfare of mentally ill people, revealed that she too has sought treatment for mental health in her life.
During the launch of the NGO, The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, Henson said that she wants to eradicate the stigma surrounding mental health, reports variety.com.
The Empire actress holds the cause close to her heart. Her son, Marcell, struggles with mental health issues after his father was murdered in 2003. Henson's father, Boris Lawrence Henson (after whom she named her foundation), also battled mental health challenges after serving overseas.
She said, "My dad fought in The Vietnam War for our country, returned broken, and received little to no physical and emotional support. I stand in his absence, committed to offering support to African Americans who face trauma daily."
The 48-year-old also pointed out the need for the cause to have a famous face attached.
"The misconception about celebrities is that we have it all together and we're perfect, and we're not. Our kids aren't perfect, we're suffering and struggling just like the regular person and money doesn't help."
Henson hopes being open with her struggles will help normalise mental health.
She said, "I'm here to tell you that when they tell 'cut' and the cameras go away, I go home to real problems just like everybody else."
'Friends' co-stars Aniston, Cox reunite
Friends show co-stars and long-time friends Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox reunited for dinner.
The pair left a restaurant in Santa Monica with smiles on their face as they headed to their taxis, reports suggest so.
Aniston, 49, appeared to be dressed in a casual black top, while 54-year-old Cox carried a striped top and leather jacket.
Aniston, who has been friends with Cox for more than two decades, is also a Godmother to Cox's daughter.
The outing came after Aniston's former husband Justin Theroux broke his silence on their split a few days ago saying there is no bad blood between them, and that they are on good terms with each other.
Valerie Singleton wants 'lesbian affair' rumours to end
Veteran television presenter Valerie Singleton, who has been rumoured to be dating singer Joan Armatrading, pleaded her to speak out and end their "lesbian affair" rumours.
In an interview to reports suggest so, Singleton, 81, denied any relationship with Armatrading and requested her to take stand for the truth.
She said, "She must've heard of it. Why doesn't she stand up and say it's absolute rubbish?"
The rumours began forty years ago after Singleton interviewed Armatrading for a current affairs show.
In part to end the rumours, Singleton has previously come clean about a string of affairs with men, including one with her show Blue Peter co-presenter Peter Purvis.
"I was fed up with everybody thinking I was gay. So I thought, it's time to put the record straight. I was fed up with looking at Wikipedia and finding I've lived with Joan Armatrading when I've only met the bloody woman twice. Ridiculous," Singleton added.
Cheryl moves out of ex Liam Payne's mansion
Singer Cheryl, who has been living at her former boyfriend Liam Payne's house for a long time, has moved out of there and is keen to buy one particular luxury property for her and her 17-month-old son Bear to share.
According to dailystar.co.uk, the house which the "Fight for love" hitmaker is planning to buy is a four-bedroom mansion in Monken Hadley comprising of four reception rooms, four bathrooms and a landscaped garden.
Her friend and Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh also lives right around the corner.
"Liam originally moved out of his Surrey mansion and into his bachelor pad in London so as to not upset Bear's routine. But that solution was only temporary," a source told the newspaper.
Cheryl and Payne parted ways three months ago after being plagued by rumours that their romance had broken down.
Bourdain remembered at final 'Parts Unknown' screening
Late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain's last voiceover for "Parts Unknown" was about how he always tried to do his best.
A packed, emotional house discovered this at the Tribeca TV festival screening of the show's upcoming Kenya episode -- the twelfth and final season premiere featuring United Shades of America host W. Kamau Bell.
Bourdain wanted to emphasise a point that has sometimes gotten lost in his work, reports variety.com.
"I do my best," he said of his exploratory travel around the world, adding, "I look, I listen. But in the end, I know it's my story. Not Kamau's, not Kenya's. Those stories have yet to be heard."
The voiceover, which airs after the credits on the episode, is one that not something his producers quite understood when Bourdain wrote it.
"We didn't have any idea what the f*ck he was talking about," said director Morgan Fallon.
But after Bourdain died in June, they revisited the tape and "it was almost uncanny".
Katie Price checks into rehab
TV personality Katie Price has checked into rehab to get treated for her post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The 40-year-old is being treated at the Priory after her family urged her to get over her drinking and drugs addiction, reports suggest so.
Price's mother Amy, who has a terminal lung condition, said it was heartbreaking to watch her daughter "crumble".
"Katie has been her own worst enemy and behaved like an idiot at times but she has been tearing herself apart for years. To see what Katie is going through and how she has been treated hurts me and my family. No mother or father wants to see their child treated like this, watch as they crumble, and feel powerless to help. It's unbearable," Price's mother added.
The reality TV star, who is fighting bankruptcy, met with her doctor and medical team on Thursday.
She has been put on a curfew but will be allowed to go home in the evenings to look after her five children - Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, Princess, 11, Jett, five, and Bunny, four.
Price is also banned from social media and her phone has been confiscated.
Danniella Westbrook battling womb cancer
Actress Danniella Westbrook has been diagnosed with womb cancer. She says she is scared of dying.
The 44-year-old actress has been terrified by the thought of dying, and has been thinking about her late friend Jade Goody, who died of cervical cancer in 2009, reports suggest so.
She said, "I have always said I am not scared of dying. But when the doctor said, 'You have cancer', straight away my thoughts turned to Jade and that I don't want to die.
"Getting this diagnosis has made me realise I don't want to die. I want to live and sort out my health. I know I have to fight, I know I have to get up and battle it."
The EastEnders actress is "hopeful" for the future as doctors have said they believe the cancer is "containable".
Westbrook will undergo a full hysterectomy in three weeks' time.
Sid Owens 'gobsmacked' over Westbrook's cancer diagnosis
Actress Danniella Westbrook's EastEnders former co-star Sid Owens has prayed for the actress' good health after she revealed she has been diagnosed with womb cancer.
In an interview with Daily Mirror, Owens said he is "gobsmacked" after hearing the news.
He said, "I'm gobsmacked. Wish her well. She's a strong girl and had to battle worse. My prayers are out for her and her family."
Owens worked closely with Westbrook on the BBC1 show.
They originally starred in the soap from 1990 to 1993, and their characters Ricky Butcher and Sam Mitchell even eloped in the series in 1991.
Earlier this month, the 44-year-old actress broke her cancer news to fans. Westbrook will undergo a full hysterectomy in three weeks' time.
Westlife to reunite after six years
Irish pop band Westlife is reuniting for the first time since its last performance in 2012.
According to the Irish Sun, the members of the band have plans to reunite under label Universal Music Group.
A source close to the band has said the reunion will not include former member Brian McFadden as he moved out of the band in 2004.
The band has other members like Shane Filan, Markus Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan.
"It's signed, sealed and delivered and it's definitely happening - and it absolutely does not include Brian McFadden.
"The other guys have been lined up to return to the studio and record some new songs and tour dates have even been organised, so it's definitely going ahead this time. There's been a lot of speculation, but this time it's a done deal and contracts have been signed," the source added.
It is also reported that the "Shape of you" singer Ed Sheeran has penned down the lyrics of the song.
Westlife was one of the UK's biggest boybands, first breaking onto the scene in 1999 with "Swear it again", leading to 13 UK Number One singles and ten Top Ten UK albums.
