Reese Witherspoon in talks to return for Legally Blonde 3

According to an online portal, popular actress Reese Witherspoon is in talks to reprise her character for the third part of Legally Blonde. In 2015 the actress stated, “We don't have any plans for that movie. Ask MGM. I don't know. They had an idea. I don't know."

Only time will let us know if the actress is returning or not.

Here's how James Bond is linked to The Incredibles

Director Brad Bird states that he was inspired by spy movies like the ones on fictional character James Bond to make The Incredibles franchise.

"I was inspired by spy series and spy movies," said Bird.

"James Bond films, Mission: Impossible, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Our Man Flint, as well as a prime-time adventure cartoon called Johny Quest. There were a bunch of them in the 60s that had that cool, elegant flavor that we wanted to capture," he added.

Bird, who also voices fashion designer Edna Mode, is back to direct the sequel The Incredibles 2.

The sequel picks up right after 2004 original, with Craig T Nelson returning as the voice of Bob Parr, Holly Hunter as Elastigirl and Samuel L Jackson as Frozone.

The sequel again deals with the Parr family attempting to balance having a normal life with their superhero powers.

The Disney-Pixar's project is slated to release in India on 22 June in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Bafta to be chaired by Pippa Harris

Film and TV producer Pippa Harris has been named the new chairperson of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta).

Harris will succeed Jane Lush, who will continue at the organization as deputy chairperson, reports an online website.

She has herself been deputy chairperson for a year and headed Bafta's film committee since 2015. She is expected to serve a two-year term as a chairperson.

Harris was in charge of the Bafta task force that looked at harassment and bullying in the business. It helped pave the way for new industry guidelines unveiled earlier this year.

She has been a long time supporter of greater diversity and the need for gender parity in senior production roles.

"The last year has been a difficult and turbulent time for many in our industry and I want to pay tribute to the calm and determined leadership that Jane has shown," Harris said.

Anderson's Isle of Dogs gets India release date

Bryan Cranston's Isle of Dogs will release in India on 6 July.

Wes Anderson's Isle of Dogs will be released in theatres across India by Fox Star Studios.

The film is an animated stop motion comedy film and is led by an all-star voice cast that includes Cranston, Scarlett Johansson, Yoko Ono, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand and Liev Shreiber.

Shawn Mendes' album tops music chart

Singer Shawn Mendes has topped the Billboard Top 200 with his self-titled third album. This marks his third consecutive number one album release.

"Unreal. Thank you to every single person who made this happen! I love you guys so much," Mendes tweeted on Monday.

The album was released via Island Records in May. Upon arrival, it captured number one spot on iTunes in over 80 countries.

The album follows Illuminate which included the number one hit song There's nothing holdin' me back, and Handwritten which included the smash hit song Stitches.

Morgan Freeman back at work

Actor Morgan Freeman was spotted back at work in Savannah, Georgia, on Friday. The outing comes amid his ongoing legal battle with CNN over its report that he sexually harassed or was inappropriate towards women.

The 81-year-old actor celebrated his birthday by filming scenes for his new movie The Poison Rose with co-stars John Travolta and Famke Janssen, reported a leading website.

The Oscar-winner could be seen exiting a car in a dark navy pinstriped suit and was later spotted in a tan-colored suit.

The movie's cast includes Peter Stormare of Fargo fame, All Eyez On Me actress Kat Graham and John's very own daughter, Ella Bleu.

Meanwhile, the most physical of the allegations in the original CNN report was one from an unnamed production assistant who described Freeman lifting up her skirt repeatedly on the set of Going In Style in 2015.

Richard Gere is the happiest man in the universe

Actor Richard Gere states that he is the happiest man in the universe after getting married to girlfriend Alejandra Silva in an Indian-inspired wedding.

Silva, 35 and Gere, 68, tied the knot in a ceremony that took place on the actor's ranch outside New York earlier this year.

"I feel like I'm in a true fairytale. Without a doubt, I feel like the luckiest woman in the world," Silva said in a media statement.

The couple have been dating since 2014 and met when Gere came to stay at the hotel owned by her family. Their wedding was Indian-inspired, with the couple making quite an entrance to their ceremony in a tuk-tuk. They imported tents from Jaipur.

"I'm the happiest man in the universe. How could I not be? I'm married to a beautiful woman who is smart, sensitive, committed to helping people, who's fun, patient, who knows how to forgive, who's a great cook and who makes the best salads in the world," Gere said in a media statement.

"Alejandra meditates, she's a vegetarian, a great mother, has the touch of an angel and she's also Spanish: the land of kings and queens, of Cervantes and Bunuel. You can't get any better than that," he added.

This is the third time he has walked down the aisle. He had a four-year marriage to model Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995. He also enjoyed a 14-year marriage with model Carey Lowell, which formally ended in 2016.

Silva was previously married to Govind Friedland with whom she shares a son.

William Phipps, the original voice of Prince Charming dies, at 96

Actor William Phipps, who starred in sci-fi films of the 1950s and voiced Prince Charming in 1950s Cinderella, has passed away. He was 96.

As per media reports, Phipps' friend and author Tom Weaver announced the news, adding that Phipps had been battling lung cancer, which was complicated by pneumonia.

The actor died on 1 June at UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, California.

Phipps had originally studied accounting and planned to pursue it as a career while continuing what was then an acting hobby on the side.

In 1941, Phipps decided to forgo his EIU studies and moved to California to pursue his acting dream.

Kanye West was diagnosed with mental condition at 39

Rapper Kanye West has revealed that he was diagnosed with a mental condition when he was 39. He called it a superpower.

"I had never been diagnosed until I was 39," Kanye, now 40, said during an interview recorded with radio host Big Boy following the 40-year-old rapper's Wyoming party for his new album YE.

After clarifying that he was diagnosed with a mental condition, Kanye added, "But like I said on the album, it's not a disability, it's a superpower.”

Although the artiste declined to specify what he had been diagnosed with during the interview, Kanye had already confirmed on his new album that he is bipolar, calling it his superpower.

Rihanna breaks up with Hassan Jameel

Singer Rihanna and her Saudi-businessman boyfriend Hassan Jameel are no longer together as she gets tired of men sometimes.

The pair had never confirmed their relationship after being spotted canoodling in a Jacuzzi in Ibiza, last year. But now, according to an entertainment portal, Rihanna has snapped ties with the billionaire.

"It was a good relationship but now it's over. Of course, Rihanna broke his heart. That's what she does- breaks men's hearts," a source said.
