Goa becomes the fourth state to grant tax exemption to Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

The popularity of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s latest Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is on the rise, so also is the number of states that are according a tax-free exemption to the film. With states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi already exempting the film of entertainment tax, Goa has become the fourth state to grant the Farhan Akhtar film a tax release. The decision was taken by the state finance ministry late on Thursday (25 July, 2013). Said a senior official, "The movie is inspiring for everyone. It is about one of our greatest athletes and how he conquered odds. We want people, especially youngsters to see the film." The movie, that released on 12 July to a good opening at the box office, has been getting high positive response from critics and the audience alike. The film also features Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Pawan Malhotra, Prakash Raj and Dalip Tahil among others.
