MUMBAI: Actor Govinda attended his niece Arti Singh's wedding reception in Mumbai on 25th April 2024. Fans were surprised to see Govinda attend Arti's wedding night after his eight-year clash with her elder brother, actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek. Govinda also addressed the paparazzi at Arti's wedding with folded hands, he looked dashing in his black bandhgala.

Speaking with reporters about the marriage ceremony, Govinda stated, “Ishvar se praarthana hai, jo kripa Arti par hui hai kisi prakaar ka vastu dosh na lage (I pray for her wellbeing and may god protect her from evil eyes).”

Arti got married to Navi Mumbai-based businessman Dipak Chauhan in the presence of her loved ones and close friends. She looked stunning in a red bridal lehenga, while her husband complemented the actress in a white-colored sherwani.

Arti and Dipak also made their first public appearance as newlyweds as they stepped out to pose for the paparazzi stationed outside the reception venue. Arti held her husband close as the couple posed for the shutterbugs. Arti greeted the paps with folded hands and thanked them for being part of her wedding celebrations. Several celebs including Kapil Sharma, Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover, Sunil Grover, Devoleena, Yuvika Chaudhary and Archana Puran Singh, among others, attended Arti’s wedding reception.

Several TV personalities, including Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain, Mahira Sharma, Yuvika Chaudhary, and Bharti Singh, among others, attended the lavish Sangeet ceremony that Arti and Dipak hosted on Wednesday. Social media was flooded with videos from the ceremony, and Arti's pre-wedding activities had fans drooling.

Kashmera Shah, Arti's sister-in-law, wrote a heartfelt message for her on social media before the wedding. Kashmera wrote, “We will always be your family @artisingh5 and we welcome @dipakchauhan09. Remember to tell him I am very possessive about everyone I love and you are a huge part of my life. All the best for your new life and journey. Your brother @krushna30 and I are always here with you, now and forever.”
