Set to release in 2021, Atrangi Re would be a romantic drama movie. The Aanand L. Rai film includes Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush.

As the name suggests this film would be surrounded by the idea of Raksha Bandhan.  The Aanand L Rai movie would also feature Bhumi Pendnekar in a pivotal role. Akshay has dedicated the film to his sister Alka.
