MUMBAI: Shaqufta Ali is back on the sets. The actress shot for a film was offered to her by one of her old colleagues in the industry. On getting this offer, Shaqufta Ali said, "My friend Avinash Dhyani offered me a role for his film Sumeru which I agreed to do although it is a small role but an important one."
After revealing her poor financial condition, Shagufta Ali was offered help by CINTAA, Rohit Shetty, and others. She also marked her presence on Dance Deewane 3, and they provided her with an aid of Rs. 3 lakhs.
In an earlier interaction, she had shared that she is eager to make a comeback to work. "I am open to working again and it is important for me to return to set to sustain myself in life,” she said.
The veteran actress had stated, "I started facing issues in the last 4 years as work reduced. There was less work, so somehow I tried to manage things on my own by selling off my car and jewellery. I somehow managed to handle things in the first 2/3 years but now in the last 1 year things have been very difficult as I have exhausted all my savings."
About Sumeru, after the success of 72 hours, Avinash Dhyani is all set for his upcoming love story, which will be released 1 October. The film poster features Avinash and Sanskriti Bhatt in a romantic pose, with the tagline “Re Chhore Yo Pyaar Hai Thari Samajh Ke Bahar Hai.”
