With new friendship arrive new favours. Now that Ajay and SRK are friends again, both seem to be doing their bit in helping each other promote their respective films. Ajay was never really friends with SRK despite the latter sharing a great equation with Ajay's actress wife, Kajol. Their relationship reached its lowest ebb when Son of Sardaar locked horns with Jab Tak Hai Jaan at the box-office in 2012 where Ajay's film got a raw deal in terms of cinema screen share. Ajay ended up indirectly blaming SRK for the entire debacle and also went on to record to state that there was no equation between him and SRK. Thankfully, all the animosity has now been erased courtesy Rohit Shetty who apparently got SRK to bury the hatchet with Ajay. SRK not only hugged Ajay but also in a rare gesture tweeted his good wishes for Ajay’s upcoming next Singham Returns recently. And when it came to Ajay returning back the favour, the magnanimous action star decided to attach and release the promos of Happy New Year along with Singham Returns. Revealing this was Ajay himself who said that he wishes only good for SRK and his forthcoming release, Happy New Year. “We are all civilized people. I definitely wish Shah Rukh and his movie well. In fact we will be attaching the promos of Happy New Year with our movie.” Now, that’s definitely a million dollar gesture, we say. Wonder if these two superstars would like to team up for a movie in future. Now only one man can make it happen – Rohit Shetty.
