MUMBAI: Bollywood has given us several movies over the decades now, and we have seen numerous stars working in numerous films over the time and making big in their lives, some of the stars stay in the hearts of the audiences over a period of time, while others fade within a time span.

Many celebs also take the deliberate decision of not working in Bollywood line due to their several reasons but having said that there are many Bollywood actresses who left the Entertainment world due to their Spirituality

So here is the list of those actresses who have left Bollywood for Spirituality:

1.     Sana Khan

Big Boss fame Sana Khan was one of the promising actors we had in Bollywood, the actress was seen in many projects like Goa, Halla Bol, and the movie Jai Ho with Salman Khan, and she was seen on OTT platforms too, but it was recently Sana Khan has said goodbye to the dazzling world of the industry and now she has decided to serve humanity by walking in the path of God.

2.     Mamta Kulkarni

Mamta Kulkarni is a former Indian actress and model. She has appeared in commercial successful Hindi films such as Aashiq Awara (1993), Waqt Hamara Hai (1993), Krantiveer (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Despite such a successful career, Mamta broke her ties with Bollywood and became a sadhvi. She gave the reason for leaving the entertainment industry in her autobiography titled “Autobiography of a Yogini” which came out in 2013.

3.     Zaira Wasim

The Dangal Fame Zaira Wasim, the actress won the hearts of millions with her strong performance in the Aamir Khan starrer Dangal, the actress was later loved by the fans in the movie Secret Superstar with Aamir Khan again, In June 2019, Zaira Wasim suddenly decided to leave the film industry, which shocked everyone, People started saying that a bigoted religious organization is behind this. But Zaira denied all the things and said that she is not finding happiness in this profession and it is hindering her from following her religion.

4.     Anu Aggarwal

Anu Aggarwal is best known for her movie Aashiqui, the actress was loved for her role in the movie and looked very confident and promising, Unfortunately, Anu failed to maintain success by making poor choices in the scripts. The actress left the film industry to make spirituality and yoga in her life. Sources revealed that she said goodbye to the film industry in 1996, and started teaching yoga to poor children.

5.     Sophia Hayat

The actress later became a nun, She did this because of the harassment in the relationship. She even changed her name from Sofia Hayat to Gaia Sofia Mother after embracing spirituality.
