Health woes in Bollywood; Manoj Kumar hospitalized while Sanjay Dutt likely to be admitted to J J Hospital

Looks like this is not a good season for our film stars. Or why would veteran actor Manoj Kumar be hospitalized or for that matter why jail authorities of the Yerwada jail, Pune think of admitting Sanjay Dutt to Mumbai’s J J Hospital? Manoj Kumar, who made a little-noticed début in Fashion in 1957, went on to be known as Mr Bharat after making patriotic films like Shaheed, Upkaar, Purab Aur Paschim and Roti Kapda Aur Makaan among others, was admitted to a suburban hospital following a pain in his gall bladder. But right now, he is doing fine and is expected to be discharged in a couple of days. Meanwhile, the Yerwada Central Jail authorities have been advised by a group of doctors attending on Sanjay Dutt to get CT angiogram/arterial angiography tests done on Dutt. It is for this that the actor may be moved to Mumbai's J J Hospital. It seems excessive smoking and high blood pressure have taken a toll on Dutt’s health. Dutt is in Yerwada Central Jail, Pune after being convicted under the Arms Act.
