MUMBAI : Mithun Chakraborty is a veteran actor who is majorly known, till today, for many movies and dance numbers including the very famous ‘Disco Dancer’.

The Kolkata-born actor made his Hindi movie debut in 1976 with Mrigyaa, directed by Mrinal Sen. Mithunda won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his role. He has won three National Film Awards after working in both Hindi and Bengali Cinema. The actor is also loved for his Zee TV show Dance India Dance aka DID which brought a new dance revolution in the country.
