MUMBAI :Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of Drishyam 2. The movie, which also stars Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, and Shriya Saran, is slated to hit the big screens on 18th November 2022. This year has not been a great year for Ajay as his films have failed to make a mark at the box office, but now, all eyes are on Drishyam 2. 

Well, before Drishyam 2 releases, let’s have a look at how well or badly the actor’s last five releases performed at the box office (only his films as lead).

Thank God

Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Thank God was released on Diwali this year. But, the film failed to attract audiences to theatres and collected only Rs. 34.54 crores at the box office.

Runway 34

Runway 34 was an Eid release, and apart from Ajay, it featured Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The movie was a flop and only collected Rs. 32.96 crores. 

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior

Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was released in 2020. The film was a biopic on Tanaji Malusare and was a blockbuster at the box office. It collected Rs. 279.55 crores. 

De De Pyaar De

The 2019 release De De Pyaar De starred Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The film was a hit at the box office and it collected Rs. 103.64 crores.

Total Dhamaal

Total Dhamaal was a multi-starrer and Ajay was one of the leads in it. The franchise factor and the star power of the actors in it surely helped the movie at the box office, and it collected Rs. 154.23 crores at the box office. 

Well, before the pandemic, Ajay’s films were doing well, but post-the-pandemic; things haven’t been that great. Now, let’s see how much Drishyam 2 will collect at the box office.
