Here is why Kajol and her family would lock themselves up in four different rooms during lockdown,

Kajol revealed that the lockdown was a very 'intense' period for her as a mother since she attended school with her son Yug.

MUMBAI: Actress is all set to impress her fans with her upcoming OTT project, 'Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy', directed by Renuka Shahane and featuring Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar in lead roles,  recently the actress opened up about spending the coronavirus-induced lockdown with her family.

Known for her witty answers, great sense of humour and extrovert nature, Kajol, in an interview with leading media portal revealed that the lockdown was a very 'intense' period for her as a mother since she attended school with her son Yug to make sure that he was present in his class.

The actress quoted, "It was a very, very concentrated period as a mother. My son goes to school from 8 am to 4 pm and now school came home and I had to attend school with him at least to make sure that he was in class”

On being asked what her family (Ajay Devgn, Nysa Devgn and Yug Devgn) and she did to get some space from each other, Kajol quipped, "At the end of the quarantine, I have to say that I'm very grateful for the fact that we had four bedrooms in the house. Each of us could get one bedroom and we could all go into the room and lock ourselves in whenever it felt like.. to get that space from each other."

Meanwhile, speaking about working on the women-dominated set of her digital film 'Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy', and recalling how there was a time when men were not willing to participate in gender conversations, Kajol said, "There was so much estrogen on 'Tribhanga' sets that we completely beat the testosterone. We had too much fun on the sets and cracked multiple dirty jokes, if you saw the BTS (behind the scenes) of this film -- you would be in splits."

"We were so entertained during the shooting that we rolled on the floor laughing -- it was a blast altogether. There was this one point where Renuka and I had this huge conversation about men and all of a sudden you could see there was utter silence on the set. We realized that all the men around me had kept quiet and no one was willing to look up and participate in this conversation," she added.

'Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy' released today on Netflix.
