Hoichoi launches trailer of horror film Chupkotha; Parno Mittra plays investigative journalist

Kolkata: Digital Bengali entertainment content platform Hoichoi recently launched the trailer of its upcoming horror original film titled Chupkotha(literal translation: silent words).

Directed by Rick Basu, the film stars Parno Mittra, Shataf Fiqar, and Mainak Banerjee in pivotal roles.

The trailer reveals that there are many cases of missing children since several decades in the quiet town of Kurseong. An investigative journalist, Shivangi (Parno Mittra) lands the case and we see her series of nightmares. There is also a horrific man called Anthony Gomes, and everything seems to link back to him. Will Shivangi be able to solve the crime or become entangled in the avalanche of horrors?

The film will stream on Hoichoi from 18 August.
