MUMBAI: Sanjay Kapoor, an actor and producer, has always had a strong belief in the power of hard work and dedication. Despite being from the Kapoor family, he has gained recognition for his roles in films like Merry Christmas, Bloody Daddy, Murder Mubarak, and House of Lies. He has demonstrated throughout his career that Bollywood success does not come easily.
His daughter Shanaya Kapoor, who plans to embark on her Bollywood career, has always had his unwavering support and guidance. As she is ready to make her movie debut in Karan Johar's Bedhadak, her father Sanjay reflects on the lessons she has learned from his career path.
Sanjay Kapoor talked about whether his difficult journey has made him more careful about his daughter Shanaya Kapoor's acting goals. Speaking about it, he said to the popular news portal, "Shanaya has followed my struggle attentively, and she is quite clever. She has seen how I fought it out and realized that one must stay focused on work and not lose faith. Just keep trying, and what is yours will be yours. She is working quite hard. Even throughout Covid, she was training, and I didn't have to tell her. I am always there for her, but I want to check if her vision and direction are correct.”
Sanjay's next film appearance will be in Prakash Jha's Laal Batti, which also stars Nana Patekar. The film was supposed to be released soon, but Jio and Disney's collaboration led it to be delayed.
