MUMBAI: With her first directing endeavor, Main Hoon Na, Farah Khan ventured into the film industry after achieving unprecedented success as a dancer and choreographer. Shahrukh Khan and Sushmita Sen played the key parts in the masala film from 2004. However, did you know that Hrithik Roshan was slated to perform alongside the entertainer as well? Khan explained the reasoning behind the fighter actor's decision to avoid sharing screen time with SRK in a recent interview.
In 2000, Hrithik Roshan made his screen debut alongside Ameesha Patel in Rakesh Roshan's film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, his father's film. For the film, Farah Khan choreographed the dancing scenes. At that moment, Khan recognized Hrithik's talent and predicted that he would go on to become a very successful actor. The choreographer-turned-filmmaker claimed in an interview that the selection process for her 2004 picture Main Hoon Na was like "musical chairs."
Farah said, “Hrithik was supposed to do it initially because I was shooting Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, and I saw him give his first shot and knew that he was going to be a star. I went to Rakesh Roshan and told him that. You can instantly make out.”
She added, “I told Hrithik that I’d written a script and that he’d be the young boy.
Rumors had been circulating at the time that Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan had not been getting along since the latter began to receive back-to-back hits from his debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.
After Karan Johar revealed in his book that Shah Rukh was a little aloof during the filming of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham due to everything going on, rumors began to circulate. Shah Rukh's team was Kajol. Regarding his career, Hrithik will next be seen alongside NTR Jr. in War 2.
