Huge poster for Akshay Kumar's Boss enters Guinness World Records

Looks like film fans of Bollywood stars have started following their counterparts in South India. There every big release starring Rajnikant, Kamal Hassan and other top actors is preceded with their respective fans making huge posters and putting the same across all big cinema halls. Likewise fans of Akshay Kumar have come out with a huge poster depicting the star in a scene from his upcoming release Boss. The poster, that is 180 feet and 2 inches tall and 1 inch wide, has entered the Guinness World Records as the largest poster in the world. It has broken the earlier record held by the poster of Michael Jackson's This Is It, a documentary-concert film. It took the team four months to prepare the poster. Said the actor in a statement, "It's a matter of honour. I thank everyone who made this possible." Created by a group of Akshay's fans called Team Akshay, it was first unveiled at the Little Gransden Airfield, Britain on 3 October. Akshay will unveil the special poster at the Andheri Sports Complex on 15 October in the presence of his fans. Boss releases on Wednesday 16 October.
