I feel lucky and happy to be a part of Fast & Furious 7: Ali Fazal

Among talks that Deepika Padukone has bagged a plum role in Fast & Furious 7, little known Ali Fazal, who acclaimed fame firstly in Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots and then in Fukrey, has been signed to play a cameo in the film that is to be directed by James Wan. Said Ali in a statement, "I feel lucky and happy to be part of this film. It's a cameo and I have just a small role in it. And it’s not that I want to shout about this from the roof tops.” According to Ali it is a very huge opportunity for anyone. He is overwhelmed by the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Till now the actor has shot for just a day for the film and will finish the rest of the shoot in the next year. "So far I have just shot for one day and most probably I will join the crew in January for the rest of the shoot," he informed. Answering our query as to how he bagged the role, Ali said that he received a call from the unit of the film and after that everything fell in place for him to be a part of the project. "I wasn't prepared for it. I got a call from there and things just happened and fell into place. It's still like a dream," he added. Fast & Furious 7 stars some of the biggies of Hollywood like Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson among others. The film will hit theaters in 2014.
