I stand by Preity Zinta - Anupam Kher

Finally, someone has shown true guts and valour by speaking in support of Preity Zinta. Anupam Kher has always been known for his outspoken and honest opinions. Not the one to mince words, Anupam made it clear where his loyalties lay when we asked him about the Ness-Preity case. "If I have to support someone in this issue, it will be Preity Zinta. I have known her for many years now and I don't know the other person in this issue. So I will stand by Preity,” said Anupam. Bollywood strangely has gone on the defensive in Preity's case with all major stars opting for the safer diplomatic or politically correct answers. When quizzed about this detached approach, Anupam said, "I won't comment on the case firstly because it's a personal issue between two people and secondly I don't know what has exactly happened. As far as Preity is concerned, I have had a long association with her and she is an absolutely brave and brilliant girl. So she has my support in this matter." Well, we applaud Anupam for standing firmly behind Preity. We are sure Preity will surely appreciate this much needed support coming from one of industry's most respected and senior actor.
