Interesting! Bhutanese actor Sangay Tsheltrim bags a new role in Shah Rukh Khan film

The Radhe fame actor would work with SRK in Atlee’s directorial venture

MUMBAI: Former Bhutanese Army officer and  actor Sangay Tsheltrim has been roped in director Arun Kumar aka Atlee’s upcoming film. After delivering a stellar performance in the Salman Khan starrer- Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, the actor is set to play an important role in the SRK starrer film.

As per TOI, Sangay’s unit head informed the actor would be portraying a different character unlike his last film. The unit head said, “The actor required to play this particular role needed a certain look and personality. Sangay fits the bill perfectly. He will be seen portraying a character different from his last Bollywood outing, Radhe, in which he played a negative character. He flew down from Bhutan and joined the shoot last week.”

While Sangay, who is a bollywood film enthusiast, never envisaged being in the entertainment industry. But his life took a turn after he featured in Salman Khan’s film and his role as the assisting henchman of the antagonist Randeep Hooda was appreciated.

Atlee’s film is tentatively titled as Jawaan would also see South India’s famous actress Nayanthara making her debut and sharing the screen space with SRK. The cast and crew are currently shooting in Pune. The film would see Khan playing a double role. The movie reportedly also features Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Yogi Babu and Marathi actress Rutuja.
