IPL is good and entertaining - Salman Khan

While IPL may be going through some tough times with the Supreme Court coming down heavily on the Indian cricket board and its president, there is still no dearth of support for the super popular league. And it's not just the aam janta who is excited, even Bollywood for that matter is quite keen on seeing IPL happen this time. And espousing IPL as a complete family entertainer was none other than Salman Khan. At an event yesterday, when we asked him if he thinks IPL is good for cricket, Salman said, " I am not a cricket fan. I don’t watch it that much. But IPL is an entertaining sport. It's very fast paced. In my family, my father watches it and so does Arbaaz. They seem to like it. So I think it is good, if the TRP ratings are good and if people enjoy watching it then it is good." Well, the beleaguered IPL does need some much needed star support, we think. What's surprising though is Salman saying that he doesn't watch cricket. Strange because he still supports CCL in a big way!!!
