MUMBAI: In a recent interview, Arjun opened up about how his understanding of success has evolved over the years. With Singham Again becoming one of the biggest hits of 2024, he reflected on the journey that brought him here and the lessons he’s learned along the way.
For Arjun, success today is about balance and perspective. He sees this as a shift in mindset, saying, “I do feel that I'm in that phase in my life where for me being successful is that I can take time, I can enjoy things, I can slow down. That for me is the hallmark of success.”
The audience’s response to his role as Danger Lanka has been particularly meaningful. “It feels very heartwarming, to get calls, messages, to have people reach out, to people meeting you and calling you by your character's name, I think that in itself is a huge validation,” he said. For Arjun, connecting with the audience emotionally is a major part of his journey as an actor. “That's what an artiste works for. To be appreciated, to be seen, to connect, to engage the audience emotionally,” he explained.
Having faced ups and downs in his career, Arjun emphasized the importance of learning from every experience. “When you've taken a failure in your stride and learnt from it, even from the success, I would hope to learn and grow with it. But I'm really enjoying it,” he said.
What stands out most for Arjun now is the joy of celebrating his successes with loved ones. “That's the fun of being able to enjoy your success with your friends and family,” he remarked.
With a grounded outlook and an openness to new challenges, Arjun is embracing this phase of his career with optimism. For him, success is about more than just numbers—it's about being able to make choices that align with his priorities and staying true to himself.
