The case that shocked Bollywood might just get solved quickly. According to a news report, Supreme Court has asked Bombay High Court to speed up the suicide probe.
Jiah Khan's mother, Rabia Amin accused the trial court of hearing the matter without a special public prosecutor in the picture.
The actor's mother also asked for a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to continue with the probe. Special Public Prosecutor Dinesh Tiwari has said that there are loopholes in the chargesheet filed also that not much progress was made in the case.
Jiah Khan, a promising Bollywood starlet, allegedly committed suicide by hanging in 2013. Her then-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi was charged with abetment to Khan's suicide under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
