MUMBAI : Today marks Jim Sarbh's 37th birthday. He was born into a Parsi Zoroastrian family on August 27, 1987, in Mumbai. One of the most gifted and adaptable actors in the business is the Bollywood star. Throughout his career, Jim Sarbh has enthralled audiences with powerful performances in a number of high-profile web series, including Made In Heaven (2019) and Rocket Boys (2021), as well as important roles in the films Neerja (2016), Sanju (2018), and Padmaavat (2018).

Family

Jim Sarbh was born in Mumbai into a Parsi Zoroastrian family, as was previously mentioned. His mother is a retired physiotherapist, while his father is the Regional Director of P&O Ports South and Middle East Asia and a former master mariner. His family moved to Australia when he was barely three years old, then they moved back when he was eight.

Theatre

Prior to being well-known in Bollywood, Jim Sarbh was a stage actor. He participated in a number of well-known plays while working at Atlanta's theaters, including The Show, Tennis in Nablus, and The Breakup. Jim returned to India in 2012 and pursued his acting career in Mumbai's neighborhood theaters.

 

 

Hindi Film Debut

Jim, who has so far acted in a number of Bollywood productions, debuted as an antagonist in Ram Madhvani's 2016 film Neerja, which starred Sonam Kapoor in the title role. Jim played a cold-blooded hijacker in the biographical movie, demonstrating his versatility in playing nuanced roles. Following his memorable debut, he went on to receive other accolades, such as the IIFA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role and the Zee Cine Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role.
