Junaid shares a very unique relationship with his father Aamir Khan. However, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor recently appeared on Kapil Sharma's The Great Indian Kapil Show and mentioned that his kids don't listen to him. In an interview with ETimes, Junaid reacted to Aamir's comment and disagreed.
He said, "Papa actually always gives us freedom to be who we are. Yeah. And I think he really appreciates us for that. If you ever ask him about something, he'll never be like don't do this or don't do that. He'll always be like, 'Look, I feel this but you should do what you want.'"
Junaid clarified that the entire anecdote narrated by his dad was an exaggeration and said, “I went from Pondicherry to Bengaluru, and the bus was the most efficient way of traveling. Otherwise, I would have to travel two and half hours in the opposite direction to Chennai, then reach the airport two hours early, and take an hour flight to Bengaluru and then get stuck in city traffic. An overnight bus is a far better way of traveling and it wasn't a state bus, it was a sleeper Volvo.”
On the work front, Junaid has two upcoming films lined up. One is alongside Sai Pallavi, and the other is with Khushi Kapoor, daughter of Boney Kapoor.
