Kader Khan's son Shahnawaz's debut film In your Arms screened at NFDC Film Bazar

Generally, it’s found that an actor’s son or a daughter takes to the acting field to make his/her career. But it’s the other way round in case of Kadar Khan. His younger son Shahnawaz Khan has turned director with a film titled In Your Arms, made in Hindi and English. Observed the debutant director, "Earlier I had assisted Satish Kaushik and Vikram Bhatt in their films. Though I had directed plays earlier it is for the first time that I have tried my hands at directing a film." The film, produced by Kadar Khan, is a heartwarming tale of college sweethearts who get married and then head for a divorce. The film will show how their marriage shatters after then. The first time director also revealed that the film stars three generations of his family including his father Kader Khan."Besides my father, the film also has my brother Sarfaraz and his eight-year-old son Hamzaa," Shahnawaz said. Shahnawaz was speaking on the sidelines of the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) where his film was showcased in NFDC Film Bazaar. The release date of the film, which has been produced by Kader Khan, is yet to be announced. Another film that Shanawaz is directing is titled Nawabi Sharabi that revolves around a Gujarati family, which has to spend a night with only one rupee since they have exhausted all their money on drinking and partying.
