MUMBAI: One of the finest actresses of Bollywood, Kajol has been winning hearts since she marked her debut. The actress is loved for her stellar performances over the years. She has garnered herself a massive fan base who shower lots of love on her. Nearly two decades now, Kajol is married to actor Ajay Devgn. The couple has made a place in the hearts of fans with their onscreen romance and are enjoying a happily married life. In an interview, Kajol revealed that her dad Shomu Mukherjee was against her decision of getting married.

Speaking with the leading media portal, Kajol revealed that her dad did not want her to marry at the age of 24 instead wanted her to pursue her acting career. The actor mentioned that her dad wanted her to work more before taking the big step. She then shared that it was her mom Tanuja, who became her biggest supporter. Kajol disclosed that her mother asked her to go with her gut and she did exactly what she wanted to do.

Kajol has often shared pictures of her with her beloved late father. The actress had last posted pictures with her dad and penned a long note remembering him. Her spoke of their bond in the caption and mentioned how she misses him every day.

Talking about Ajay Devgn and Kajol, the couple tied the knot on February 24, 1999. This year, in February, they will be celebrating 22 years of marriage. The couple is blessed with two kids Nysa Devgn and Yug Devgn. Currently, Kajol is living with her daughter in Singapore as she pursues her higher education. Yug on the other hand is living with his father, and Ajay is fulfilling daddy duties. The Devgn family also celebrated Diwali 2020 with family this year, and pictures did not see Kajol and Nysa. Work-wise, Kajol and Ajay shared screen space in the film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
