MUMBAI: Kajol is currently busy promoting her movie Helicopter Eela, where she essays the role of a single mother to National Award winning actor Riddhi Sen. The film is directed by produced by Pradeep Sarkar, and Ajay Devgn is one of the producers.
The movie was slated to release on 7 September, but according to a leading entertainment portal, it has been postponed by a month, as there is extensive post-production work remaining. In addition, the director of the movie is down with dengue and has been advised one week of rest. Despite his illness, the director shot for a sequence in which Amitabh Bachchan makes a special appearance.

As soon as the shoot was completed, Pradeep was admitted to the hospital, and post-production work was put on hold. As per media reports, Ajay Devgn doesn’t want to complete the post-production without the director and his input, so he has decided to push the release date to 12 October.
Ajay is ready to wait for the director to be fit enough to oversee the final stages of post-production.
