Since then, it has become popular on social media. Many others who were unable to see it in theatres saw the movie on OTT at home. A few individuals rewatched the film and were unable to stop praising it on social media. For the wrong reasons, the movie has also made headlines.

We recently witnessed Arshad Warsi criticizing Prabhas and the movie. During a recent Unfiltered by Samdish podcast, Arshad Warsi expressed his dislike of Kalki 2898 AD. He added that Prabhas has a joker-like appearance in the film. He showers praises on Amitabh Bachchan for his portrayal of Ashwatthama. His comments are making headlines in the entertainment industry.

But fans took exception to his comments about Prabhas and the movie. He began to receive trolling on social media, and he was criticized for his comments against Prabhas by several stars, including Sudheer Babu and Nani. Nag Ashwin, the director of Kalki 2898 AD, has now responded to Arshad's comments.

He went to X and told him that Arshad needed to have used his words more wisely. He wrote, "Let's not go backwards..no more north-south or bolly vs tolly..eyes on the bigger picture.. United Indian Film Industry..Arshad saab should have chosen his words better..but it's ok..sending buji toys 4 his kids..il work hard so tweets fdfs that prabhas was the best ever in k2."

He added, "Too much hate in the world already bro...we can try not to add to it..I know prabhas garu will also feel the same..."
