Karan Johar set to direct a film featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra

Every other filmmaker is bent of doing his next film with Ranbir Kapoor who seems to be a rage today. The other day, we had reported that Imtiaz Ali was contemplating doing a film with Ranbir and Deepika Padukone. Today, there is news that Karan Johar has planned to direct a film with Ranbir Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in the cast. This means that the Johar who had earlier produced Ranbir starrers Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is now set to direct the young Kapoor. As for Parineeti, this will her first film with both Ranbir and Johar. Johar will commence shooting the yet untitled film soon after Ranbir wraps up Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. There is also news that Johar will introduce a new girl shortly but it needs to be seen in which of his upcoming film the newcomer will fit into.
