MUMBAI: Chandu Champion has been making headlines and trending all over the social media as it’s not just Kartik Aaryan fans who are excited but after watching the trailer it seems that the actor’s fan base has expanded to another level. The audience has been excited for the movie since it was announced.
Kartik Aaryan has been giving some amazing performances over the time and after the success of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, now the audience is ready for Sajid Nadiadwala's ‘Chandu Champion’ which is based on a true story of a sportsperson and directed by Kabir Khan.
When talking about the movie, it’s an unbelievable tale of a man who faced tough challenges one after another but always kept up an undying spirit. Kartik Aaryan plays the lead role in the movie and the character’s unwavering zeal and never-give-up attitude led to India’s first individual gold medal in any form of the Olympics. And this is the story of Chandu Champion.
The makers had released the poster and had also updated all the fans with some of the preparations that Kartik Aaryan did in order to get in shape for the character.
Even Kartik Aaryan had dropped a post on his Instagram profile where he could be seen with Sena Agbeko, a famous boxer.
After watching the trailer, we saw Kartik Aaryan in a completely unseen avatar. The dialogues, Kartik Aaryan’s look and his acting looks to be really amazing in the trailer. Now that the movie has hit the theatres, it is doing great at the box office.
In an exclusive interview with Kartik Aaryan prior to the release of Chandu Champion in theaters, the star opened up on his struggling days, and how he'd attend the Mumbai Marathon just to spot moviestars and try and click pictures with them.
Kartik Aaryan said, “Mujhe toh abhi bhi bohot surreal lagta hai kyuki mujhe yaad hai ki main Mumbai Marathon mein ek baar tha aur waha pe bhaga bhaga mujhe kya hai waha pe actors aate hai aur main tab acting ki tayyari matlab try kar raha tha ki mera kuch ho jaye iss field mein. Aur main college mein tha toh ya toh main Sunday ko bandstand chala gaya ki mujhe ya toh Shah Rukh sir dikh jaye ya Salman sir dikh jaye ya fir Marathon ek baar hui thi mujhe yaad hai ki usme Sagarika waha pe dikh gayi thi who Chak De India kit oh unke peeche peeche bhaga ki ek photo ma’am plz. Toh I can see ke ye kya hota hai from the other side ke unke woh dimag mein chal raha hota hai when you see an actor or a star you feel, who ek alag si ek feeling aati hai which is unreal, magical. And I never thought that, I always manifested this for myself to be on the other endbut I never thought ki yeh hoga properly aur iss level pe hoga and I feel that have I done enough to deserve all this love? I really feel lucky and I really feel that may be, somewhere there was some kind of power or I don’t know. Bohot saare sawaal aate rehte hai kai bari yeh cheezo mein. Main Gwalior abhi gaya trailer launch ke liye toh waha se jis tareeke se waha pe sab hua tha”
When pointed about the crowd that was present at the Gwalior event and mentioned that the crowd wasn’t called, Kartik Aaryan said, “Who possible hi nahi tha itna bulana bhi kisi ke liye. Lekin who jis tareeke se hota hai, I am out of words with that ki main kuch explain bhi nahi kar sakta who pyaar. And who pare hai film ke, meri pichli film chali hai ya film nahi bhi chali ho who pyaar ekdum barkaraar rehta hai so that connection, I don’t know, who apne aap shuruat se yaha tak aate aate bana hai and I hope woh bana rahe. But mujhe nahi pata woh kya cheez hai jiske wajah se woh hota hai. I just feel ke main unko khush karte rehna chahta hoon and I want their love and attention and as much as I can so woh cheez bas rakhna chahta hoon main.”
