Katrina Kaif breaks silence on her animosity with Deepika Padukone and being friends with Alia Bhatt; says, ‘I feel Devastated’

Despite having moved on in their own lives, Katrina and Deepika are said to be uncomfortable and hostile towards one another.

MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif were the actresses that Ranbir Kapoor once dated. Now, as a doting dad of daughter Raha Kapoor, Ranbir is married to actress Alia Bhatt. Despite having moved on in their own lives, Katrina and Deepika are said to be uncomfortable and hostile towards one another.

In a previous interview, Katrina was asked how she managed to be friends with Ranbir’s wife Alia and have a cordial relationship with Deepika. Katrina said, “It comes from realising that these things don’t matter. Me holding on to resentment or a grudge isn’t going to change the situation. It boils down to logic. But I’m human. Yeah, I feel bad, I cry. I feel devastated. And then, I get back up and say, it’s fine. Something’s coming, something’s coming.”

Once upon a time, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif got into a heated argument over Deepika's ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor's infidelity with Katrina. Deepika once said on the "Koffee" sofa that she would never invite Katrina to her wedding because their friendship had gotten that bad.

Opening up on the feud with Deepika, Katrina said, “As for the uncomfortable equation I once had with Deepika… I just react to instinct. I don’t feel that animosity or discomfort between us anymore. I felt happy to let that go.”
