Katrina Kaif kicked to be a part Rajneeti sequel

Movie chakkar has already reported that Prakash Jha has decided to cast Katrina Kaif again in the sequel of his Rajneeti. And the actress is super excited to be a part of the project. Said Katrina, “I did hear the idea about the sequel from Prakashji, I think it was brilliant. The only thing is that most of the characters from the first film have been killed, so he has to set up whole thing again. The story line, the idea that he told me about Rajneeti 2 is amazing. If something really falls in place then it is good because I genuinely feel it is a good idea. I hope everything comes on properly.” In Rajneeti, characters played by Ajay Devgan, Manoj Bajpayee, Naseeruddin Shah, Arjun Rampal and Sarah Thompson die. However, there are chances that Nana Patekar might return in its sequel. Sadly, the film wouldn’t see Ranbir Kapoor as he has opted out of the film. Jha is simultaneously working on Satyagrah supposedly loosely based on the Anna Hazare movement. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan. However, news is that it’s not an original story but a remake of a South Indian film. The said Tamil film titled Ko, that was later dubbed in Telugu under the title of Rangam, was loosely based on Russell Crowe’s State Of Play.
