MUMBAI: The highly successful Transformers franchise is gearing up for its next thrilling chapter as director Josh Cooley’s new release takes fans back to the heart of Cybertron. Get ready to witness the epic beginnings of these legendary warriors as the saga continues to evolve in electrifying new ways! In the latest installment of the Transformers saga, Bumblebee takes on a vibrant new persona that’s bound to surprise fans. As the action shifts to the vibrant world of Cybertron, B-127 emerges with a voice that’s both lively and endlessly entertaining.

The Director of Transformers One, Cooley offers a fresh take on this iconic character, where B-127 finds his voice surprising. Keegan-Michael Key injects a fresh and dynamic energy into Bumblebee, transforming the usually quiet Autobot into a nonstop chatterbox.

Josh Cooley said, “In the earlier movies, he is very funny. I think of him as almost Charlie Chaplinesque. We decided to make him extremely talkative. In fact, he never stops talking. I immediately thought of Keegan. He can say any line of dialogue and it’s funny. That is just a fact.”

Keegan-Michael Key, who plays B-127 (AKA Bumblebee). Key says as soon as Cooley, with whom he worked on Toy Story 4, asked him to join the cast, he gave a resounding yes.

Keegan-Michael Key said, “Like everybody else, I came home after school and watched the TV show, so I was all in. I am a longtime fan and I have always wanted an origin story. In this chapter, we meet two friends who are trying to unravel an ancient mystery. And when they solve it, it tears them apart. They also bring along two very colorful teammates — B-127 and Elita-1 — for an epic ride”

Key added, “I was allowed to ad lib and improvise quite a bit. It really speaks to Josh’s talent and confidence that he will let an actor roam free a little bit. The visuals are sumptuous beyond anything you can get in a live-action movie. People are going to jump back in their seats. I just hope that they see it on a big screen to get a sense of the breadth of this world.”

Unlike the live-action Transformers movies, which depict the robots as battle-ready from birth, Transformers One presents a fresh narrative, revealing the character’s transformative journey. The film delves into the deep bond between Orion Pax and D-16, shedding light on the events that ultimately led to their epic clash. The film boasts an impressive voice cast led by Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, and Scarlett Johansson. The stellar cast also includes Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm, promising a thrilling new experience for Transformers fans. The film is currently playing in theaters in English & Hindi, in 2D, 3D, 4D and IMAX (3D
