MUMBAI: Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan are of the most loved on-screen couples in India and Pakistan. The two are uniting for Bilal Lashari’s Maula Jatt. The film is termed to be one of Pakistani’s most expensive action movies and will also have Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima Malick in lead roles.
The two were seen in the serial Humsafar in India, which was loved by all and was a huge success here. The series was set to be a reboot version of the iconic Maula Jatt (1979); however, it turns out that it is a continuation of Nasir Adeeb’s series instead.
The film has finally got a release date, and it is slated for a release on Eid-Ul-Fitr 2019. Salman Khan’s film with Katrina Kaif, Bharat is also slated for a release next year, and the legendary Maula Jatt might clash with the much-anticipated Bollywood film.
With the release date now out, its teaser is much awaited.
