Lara Dutta talks about her 70mm comeback plans

A lot of yummy mummies have been eagerly planning their return to Bollywood. While some like Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi have already hit the marquee in their 2nd innings, others like Shilpa Shetty and Aishwarya Rai are still in the waiting list planning to announce their grand return soon. Joining this list is Lara Dutta who too had taken a sabbatical post the birth of her baby. And looks like the lady is now prepping herself up for her second innings in Bollywood. Lara told us today that there is a rush of activities going in her professional life currently. “Lots of things are happening right now in my life, professionally especially with my production house Bheegi Basanti. We plan to produce many stuff both on film and television front,” said Lara and added that she is not interested in appearing on television for the moment. Disclosing her intention about making a comeback in Bollywood soon, Lara said, “I am definitely focusing on films for the moment and I am definitely shooting this year. When my film would release is something that only my producers can answer. So whether the release is happening now or later is something I don’t know.” Lara, however remained tightlipped and refused to reveal the name of the film that she is shooting for. The actress has also started work on the sequel of her 2011 movie Chalo Dilli. “I am excited about Chalo Dilli’s sequel which is in pre-production currently. There are also films that I am doing outside of my production house. So there is quite a lot happening this year.” Let’s hope other yummy mummies follow suit soon.
